Effective Date: June 23, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Auto AI LLC ("Auto AI", "we", "us") uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on the Auto AI Radar website and Service (collectively, the "Service"). The Service includes a competitor and FTC compliance monitoring feature that tracks dealers' and their competitors' public websites and advertised specials; that feature is a helpful tool and is not a guarantee of compliance — full disclaimers are set out in our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. By continuing to use the Service, you consent to our use of cookies as described below, except where consent is otherwise required by applicable law (in which case we will obtain it through our consent banner).

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, to improve security, to remember preferences, to authenticate users, and to understand how a site is being used. "Similar technologies" includes pixels, local storage, session storage, IndexedDB, software development kits, and device fingerprinting.

2. Categories of cookies we use

2.1 Strictly necessary

These cookies are essential for the Service to function. They enable core features such as authentication, session management, security, load balancing, fraud prevention, and remembering items such as your accepted cookie preferences. The Service cannot operate properly without them and they cannot be disabled through our preference controls.

2.2 Functional

These cookies remember choices you make (for example, language, region, dashboard layout, last-viewed section) so we can offer a more personalized experience. Disabling these may degrade Service functionality but will not prevent core use.

2.3 Performance and analytics

These cookies and similar technologies help us understand how the Service is used in aggregate — which pages are visited, which features are used, where errors occur, and how long sessions last — so we can improve the product. Wherever feasible we use first-party, IP-truncated analytics.

2.4 Advertising

We do not use cookies for cross-context behavioral advertising, ad targeting, ad retargeting, or any form of "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under the California Consumer Privacy Act or analogous state laws.

3. Third-party cookies and subprocessors

Certain cookies may be set by third parties acting on our behalf, including authentication, error-monitoring, customer-support chat, and analytics providers. Those third parties are contractually bound to use the data only to provide services to Auto AI. A current list of subprocessors is available on request to privacy@autoai.inc.

4. Retention

Session cookies expire when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain on your device until they expire (typically between 30 days and 24 months) or you delete them. Strictly necessary security cookies (for example, CSRF tokens) may persist only for the duration of an authenticated session.

5. Managing your preferences

Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from authenticating to or otherwise using the Service.

6. Cross-border transfers

Cookie data may be transferred to and processed in the United States and other jurisdictions in which our subprocessors operate, subject to appropriate safeguards described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Changes to this Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new "Effective Date." Material changes will be communicated by in-app notice or email. Your continued use of the Service after the Effective Date constitutes acceptance.
